On August 28th, the Financial Secretary of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government, Paul Chan, and his delegation visited the Jiangsu Hong Kong Chamber of Commerce and had cordial talks with members of the Chamber of Commerce and representatives of people and enterprises in Jiangsu, Hong Kong, and Hong Kong at the venue of the "Think and Enjoy Club" to discuss cooperation and development. Shi Weibin, member of the Standing Committee of the Jiangsu Provincial Political Consultative Conference, President of the Jiangsu Hong Kong Chamber of Commerce, and Chairman of Yingda Technology Group, warmly received the meeting. The Chamber of Commerce actively participates in activities and exchanges between Jiangsu and Hong Kong through various forms such as cooperation and exchange, visits and inspections, meetings and discussions, and has achieved more fruitful results in promoting cooperation in various fields.

Chen Maobo was pleased to learn about the work of the Jiangsu Hong Kong Chamber of Commerce. He encourages Jiangsu port merchants to play a bridging role, promote more mutual investment and cooperation between Jiangsu and Hong Kong, and be brave in innovation and exploring new markets, creating greater development space for themselves.

President Shi Weibin expressed sincere gratitude to the Hong Kong SAR government for its concern and support for mainland Hong Kong businesses. He said that "building a unified national market" and "promoting the development of new quality productivity" have brought great confidence and encouragement to Hong Kong enterprises and people. Hong Kong enterprises and people should further utilize their unique innovative potential, strengthen cooperation between the two places in finance, trade, technological innovation, cultural tourism and other fields, achieve complementary advantages, and jointly promote the economic and social development of the two places.

Subsequently, both sides conducted in-depth exchanges on how to strengthen economic and trade cooperation between Hong Kong and Jiangsu, promote diversified economic development between the two regions, and facilitate cultural exchanges between the two places. Director Chen listened carefully to the suggestions of every representative of people and enterprises in Jiangsu and Hong Kong, had cordial conversations with everyone, and provided more business advice to businesses in Jiangsu and Hong Kong. He called on the two places to embrace more new business opportunities, create new development space, and achieve win-win cooperation in the future.
